Point guard Vladimir Mihailovic (193-PG-1990) had an amazing evening in the last round for Mornar, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 32-year old player was the main contributor (25 points, five rebounds and three assists) to his team’s victory, helping them to crush MZT Skopje (#13, 1-5) with 17-point margin 94-77. Mornar is placed at 9th position in ABA League. Mornar is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 3-3 record. In the team’s last game Mihailovic had a remarkable 75.0% from 2-point range. It’s his second year at Mornar and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. Vladimir Mihailovic averages this season 15.5ppg.

The second best player in last round’s games was young Marko Ramljak (201-G/F-1993, agency: Interperformances) of Zadar. Ramljak had a very good evening with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. It was enough for Zadar to edge slightly higher-ranked Crvena Zvezda (#3, 4-1) 98-96. This victory allowed Zadar to move up to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 4-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Ramljak is a newcomer at Zadar, but is already one of team’s top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Croatian center Danko Brankovic (215-C-2000, agency: BeoBasket) of Mega BG (#12). Brankovic scored 17 points and grabbed six rebounds. He was a key player of Mega BG, leading his team to a 101-74 easy win against slightly higher-ranked SC Derby (#10, 2-4). Mega BG can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-5 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Brankovic has a very solid season. In 6 games in ABA League he scored 15.7ppg. He also has 6.0rpg, 3.0bpg and FGP: 69.8%.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
