Shooting guard Ilias Kamardine (193-SG-03) had a very impressive game in the last round for Dijon, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 18-year old player was the main contributor (37 points, four rebounds and seven assists) to his team’s victory, helping them to crush Le Mans (#11, 6-8) with 18-point margin 92-74. Dijon maintains the 3rd position in French ProA U21. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Dijon will need more victories to improve their 10-3 record. In the team’s last game Kamardine had a remarkable 90.0% from 2-point range and got six three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Dijon’s top player in his first season with the team. Ilias Kamardine has solid league stats. He is in league’s top in points (3rd best: 20.2ppg) and averages impressive 2.8spg and 64.2% FGP.

The second best player in last round’s games was 19-year old Arthur Minkonda (204-PF-02) of Roanne. Minkonda had a very good evening with a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Roanne was edged by the higher-ranked Levallois (#5, 9-5) 58-56. This loss caused Roanne to drop to 13th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league’s best with a mere 5-8 record. Minkonda is well-known at Roanne and is a proven leader in his second season with the team. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.6ppg (#9). He also registered 11.3 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Guinean forward Ousmane Kaba (195-F-02) of Fos-Provence (#10). Kaba showcased his all-around game by recording 17 points, twelve rebounds (!!!) and seven assists in the last round. He was a key player of Fos-Provence, leading his team to a 71-65 win against the higher-ranked Bourg (#7, 8-5). Kaba has a very solid season. In 13 games in France he scored 10.7ppg. He also has 6.0rpg, 2.1spg and FGP: 55.2%. Ousmane Kaba has also French passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.

7. Lucas Fischer (193-SG-04) of Nanterre – 17 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists
8. Eric Koumba (194-SG-02) of Levallois – 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists
9. Marc-Olivier Lasserre (199-F/G-02) of Pau-Lacq-Orthez – 18 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Maxime Yomi (204-F-02) of Levallois – 15 points and 14 rebounds
