Sibenka forced 19 Dubrava turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Sibenka made 8 blocks. Power forward Pavao Paic (205-1998, agency: AltusBasket) had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Patrik Jambrovic (203-1996, agency: PEPI SPORT) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Skrljevo has finally registered their first victory this season after five consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Gorica (1-5) 92-88. American point guard Griffin Ramme (190-1989, college: Chapman) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 assists to lead the effort and Sandro Antunovic supported him with 23 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Even 27 points and 5 assists by the former international Karlo Uljarevic (190-1998, agency: AltusBasket) did not help to save the game for Gorica. Skrljevo left bottom position moving up to tenth place, which they share with Zabok and Gorica. It was Gorica’s fifth loss in a row. Skrljevo will play against bottom-ranked Zabok (#12) on the road in the next round. Gorica will play against Split to get more than just one victory in their record.
The game in Split supposed to be also quite interesting. 5th ranked Dinamo (3-3) played at the court of sixth ranked Split (4-2). Split smashed Dinamo 96-62 on Tuesday. The best player for the winners was Shannon Shorter who scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Ivan Novacic who recorded 10 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Split moved-up to fourth place. Newly promoted Dinamo dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Alkar. Split will meet Gorica (#10) in the next round where they are favorite. Dinamo will play against Zadar (#3) and hope to secure a win.

There was a minor upset in Zagreb where 6th ranked Alkar (3-3) was defeated by ninth ranked Bosco (2-4) 70-66 on Wednesday. Bosco made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Strangely Alkar outrebounded Bosco 41-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was swingman Luka Katura (194-1989) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Luka Krajnovic (192-2004) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Sime Lisica (190-1998) who recorded 21 points and guard Ivan Svalina (198-1997) added 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. Bosco moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Dubrava. Alkar at the other side keeps the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Dinamo.
