Dorian Rozic had a very impressive game in the last round for league’s leader Hogsbo 2 and that’s him to receive a Hoops Agents Basketettan Player of the Week award for round 5.
The had a double-double of 26 points and eleven rebounds, while his team edged out KFUM Fry. 2 (#9, 1-4) 90-87. It allowed Hogsbo 2 to jump to the first place in the Swedish Basketettan. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Hogsbo 2 already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. In the team’s last game Rozic had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Hogsbo 2’s top player in his first season with the team. Rozic has impressive league stats. He is in league’s top in rebounds (8th best: 8.4rpg) and averages solid 61.0% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was young power forward Egal Saleman (201-PF-1988) of second-ranked Djurgarden. Saleman impressed basketball fans with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Of course he led Djurgarden to another comfortable win 86-72 over the lower-ranked SBBK (#5, 2-4) being unquestionably team leader. Djurgarden’s second position in South has not changed. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 4 games without any defeat. Saleman is a newcomer at Djurgarden and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team’s leaders.
The third best performed player last round was another Djurgarden’s star – Johannes Hook (197-PF-1996). Hook scored 21 points and grabbed fifteen rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Djurgarden, helping his team with a 86-72 easy win against the lower-ranked SBBK (#5, 2-4). Djurgarden started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game in South. Hook turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Hook has a great season in Sweden. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in rebounds with 8.5rpg (7th best).

10. Fabian Illes (188-G-2001) of KFUM Black. – 14 points and 7 rebounds
The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
