Djoko Salic

Prienai CBet (LKL) agreed terms with 26-year old Serbian center Djoko Salic (210cm-1995) for new 2022-23 season. Salic played last season at OKK Sloboda Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. In 5 Division I games he had 14.4ppg, 3.6rpg and 1.0apg. Salic also played for SK Cherkasy Monkeys in Ukrainian Superleague where in 10 games he recorded 10.9ppg, 4.9rpg and 2.0apg. The other team he played that season for was Wilki Morskie in Polish EBL. In 15 games he averaged 7.1ppg and 3.8rpg.
He represented Serbia at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Italy) seven years ago. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 6 games: 2.5ppg, 1.5rpg.
Salic is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Montenegro (Sutjeska), Slovenia (Saliclios Suns) and Serbia (KK Partizan NiS Beograd, Vrsac and KK Dynamic Vip Pay Beograd). He won Bosnian A1 Liga championship title in 2013 and 2022.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Adriatic League 2 Honorable Mention back in 2019.
