Juhann Begarin

Paris Basketball (Betclic ELITE ProA) agreed terms with 20-year old French shooting guard Juhann Begarin (196cm-2002) for new 2022-23 season. It is actually his comeback to Paris as he has played here before. Begarin played this summer at Boston Celtics in the NBA Summer League. In 5 games just recently he had very impressive stats: 18.2ppg, 5.6rpg, 2.4apg and 1.8spg. The last season he played at Paris Basketball in French Betclic ELITE ProA where in 29 games he recorded 11.1ppg, 4.2rpg, 1.5apg and 1.5spg.
Last year he was drafted by Boston Celtics (NBA) in second round (45th overall).
He represented France at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U18 in Greece three years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 7.9ppg, 3.0rpg, 1.1apg, 1.9spg, FGP: 44.7%, 3PT: 16.7%, FT: 38.9%.
Begarin has played previously for two other French teams: CFBB and CFBB Paris.
His team made it to the Adidas Next Generation Tournament in Kaunas Semifinals in 2019.
