The most exciting game of round 23 in the ProB took place in Fellbach. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 3rd placed Fellbach (15-8) to first ranked Kangaroos (18-5) 80-78 on Saturday evening. Leitershofen forced 20 Fellbach turnovers. The best player for the winners was Ferenc Gille (203-1998) who scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. Elias Marei (200-2002) chipped in 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Coburg was beaten by Rhoendorf in a road game 104-97. Ahorn Camp won against Wuerzburg Ak. at home 82-73. Ehingen managed to outperform FC Bayern 2 on the opponent’s court 88-83. Bball Loewen recorded a loss to Koeln in a home game 72-80. Frankfurt Jrs were defeated by OrangeAcad. on the road 68-67. OrangeAcad. beat Ehingen on its own court 92-77.

BSW Sixers – Paderborn 75-87
There was no surprise in Sandersdorf where 5th ranked Sixers (12-11) were defeated by third ranked Uni Baskets (15-8) 87-75 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for Paderborn especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. It was a great evening for Lars Lagerpusch (207-1998) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Spanish point guard Jose Joaquin Carrasco (185-1994) helped adding 13 points and 7 assists. Four Uni Baskets players scored in double figures. Moritz Heck (201-2002) responded with 17 points and 6 rebounds and Latvian point guard Niks Salenieks (183-2000) scored 14 points and 4 assists.
