The most surprising game was the first loss of Sokol (9-1) in Lancut on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by sixteenth ranked Znicz (2-8) 96-86. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Sokol. Znicz looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Sokol helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Karol Kaminski (195-97) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Power forward Lukasz Bodych (201-90) contributed with 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. point guard Marcin Nowakowski (184-89) replied with 17 points and 5 assists for Sokol. Sokol’s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn’t help. Znicz maintains sixteenth position with 2-8 record. Sokol at the other side still keeps top place with one game lost. They share the position with Tychy. Znicz are looking forward to face league’s second-placed Tychy at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of WKK Wroclaw. Power forward Szymon Tomczak (201-98) had a double-double by scoring 26 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Kacper Gordon chipped in 22 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side point guard Tomasz Ochonko (183-86, agency: BIG) responded with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Slask moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Starogard Gd. WKK Wroclaw at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Slask will play against league’s leader Sokol in Lancut in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. WKK Wroclaw will play on the road against Pelplin (#13) in Pelpin and hopes to get back on the winning track.

This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their ninth consecutive match to fourteenth ranked Pelplin (3-6) 90-73 on Wednesday evening. Karol Michalek notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort. Pelplin’s coach Marcin Radomski used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 15 points and 9 assists by Kacper Traczyk did not help to save the game for Turow. Pelplin moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Turow still closes the standings with nine games lost. Pelplin will meet at home higher ranked WKK Wroclaw (#5) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Turow will play against Krosno (#11) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
Other games in round 10 were not that significant. Starogard Gd. was beaten by Tychy on the road 101-83. Dziki Wwa lost to Walbrzych on its own court 71-78. Opole was outscored by Kolobrzeg in a road game 68-87. Krakow rolled over Lublin 2 at home 95-68. Krosno crushed Koszalin on the opponent’s court 79-58.

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Tychy (9-1) beat at home 8th ranked Kociewskie Diably (5-5) 101-83 on Wednesday. Strangely Kociewskie Diably outrebounded Tychy 42-29 including 17 on the offensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Tychy looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Radoslaw Trubacz (196-94) notched 24 points to lead the effort and point guard Piotr Wieloch (182-94) supported him with 13 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Four Tychy players scored in double figures. Even 24 points and 6 rebounds by swingman Szymon Ryzek (190-97) did not help to save the game for Kociewskie Diably.
