There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in Superleague 1. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most important game in the last round took place in Moscow between second ranked CSKA-2 (22-7) and eighth ranked Barnaul (14-15) on Thursday night. CSKA-2 was defeated by Barnaul in a tough game at home 75-83. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of CSKA-2. Barnaul looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for center Dmitrii Karbusov (205-1999) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Kazakhstan guard Roman Lagutin (195-1995) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Alexandr Evseev (205-2002) replied with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for CSKA-2. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Barnaul moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Chelbasket. CSKA-2 at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. Barnaul is looking forward to face Tambov (#12) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. CSKA-2 will play against Novosybirsk (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
Superleague 1 top team – TSU (23-6) added another victory to their record. This time they beat seventh ranked Chelbasket (14-15) in Chelyabinsk 74-70. Center Nikita Ivanov (205-1991) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Ivan Samoylenko chipped in 15 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was swingman Ruslan Tumanov (195-1991, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. TSU have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 23-6 record. Chelbasket at the other side keeps the seventh place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Barnaul. TSU will play against Metallurg MGN (#14) in Magnitogorsk in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Chelbasket will play at home against Kupol-Rodniki (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Ninth-ranked Irkut (13-16) used its home court advantage to challenge third ranked Khimki (21-8) in Irkutsk on Thursday. The visitors from Khimki managed to secure only one-point victory 77-76. However their fans expected much easier game. Evgeny Fidiy notched 17 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort. Even 15 points and 7 assists by Ian Dodeus did not help to save the game for Irkut. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Khimki have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 21-8 record having just two points less than leader TSU. Loser Irkut keeps the ninth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Kupol-Rodniki. Khimki will meet Dinamo (#6) in the next round. Irkut will play against Univ.Surgut and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 30: Univ.Surgut was smashed by Dinamo on the road 87-60. Metallurg MGN lost to Kupol-Rodniki on its own court 67-71. Bottom-ranked Lok.Kuban unfortunately lost to Dinamo in Grozny 73-85. Tambov managed to beat Novosybirsk at home 89-78. BARS-RGEU was defeated by Zenit-2 on the opponent’s court 109-94.
The most impressive performance of 30th round was 28 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists by Pavel Zemskiy of Zenit-2.


Dinamo V. – Univ.Surgut 87-60

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Dinamo (17-12) crushed 11th ranked Univ.Surgut (12-17) in Vladivostok 87-60 on Thursday. Dinamo outrebounded Univ.Surgut 42-28 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. American point guard Josh Newkirk (185-1994, college: Indiana) notched 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and Dmitriy Doynikov (204-1994) supported him with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Even 15 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists by the former international swingman Igor Smygin (197-1987) did not help to save the game for Univ.Surgut. Kazakhstan center Vladimir Ivanov (208-1994) added 12 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dinamo maintains sixth position with 17-12 record. Loser Univ.Surgut keeps the eleventh place with 17 games lost. Dinamo will meet at home higher ranked Khimki (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Univ.Surgut will play against Irkut (#10) in Irkutsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

However their fans expected much easier game. Khimki made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Khimki outrebounded Irkut 37-20 including 25 on the defensive glass. Power forward Evgeny Fidiy (208-1991) notched 17 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and Sergey Mikhalev (194-1993) supported him with 17 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field).
