Newly promoted Semt77 Yalova Belediye Spor (BSL) tabbed 26-year old South Korean-American ex-international 203cm center Bryan Griffin (college: Xavier). Griffin started the season at LG Sakers in South Korean KBL league. In 6 games he averaged 6.5ppg and 2.8rpg. He was a member of South Korean Senior National Team two years ago.
Griffin is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in five different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Asian and of course North American leagues. Griffin has played previously professionally in Finland (Vilpas), Germany (MLP Academics Heidelberg), Romania (Constanta), Taiwan (New Taipei CTBC DEA) and The Basketball Tournament (Heartfire).
Among many awards his college team made it to the Romanian Cup Final Four in 2024. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Honorable Mention in 2024.
Griffin graduated from Xavier University in 2021 and it is his fourth season in pro basketball. He played also for Mercy College for 4 years.
