Zenit held off CSKA to narrow the deficit in the Finals. Zenit dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to CSKA’s 22 and made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by CSKA helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American power forward Jordan Mickey (203-1994, college: LSU) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import Jordan Loyd (193-1993, college: Indianapolis) helped adding 14 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Five Zenit players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Serbian center Nikola Milutinov (213-1994, agency: Octagon Europe) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American Will Clyburn (201-1990, college: Iowa St.) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

Unics regained the lead in the consolation finals. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Lorenzo Brown (196-1990, college: NC State) who led the winners and scored 18 points and 7 assists. Croatian Mario Hezonja (202-1995) accounted for 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Four Unics players scored in double figures. American guard Jaylen Barford (191-1996, college: Arkansas) came up with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import power forward Johnathan Motley (208-1995, college: Baylor) added 18 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for Lokomotiv in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
