There was a small surprise when seventh ranked Borisfen 2 (3-16) beat 4th ranked Brest (8-11) in Mogilev 84-80 on Sunday. Borisfen 2 forced 21 Brest turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by forward Artem Puchko (195-2006) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds and forward Ian Pobelustikov (196-2007) supported him with 22 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists. Even 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by guard Nikolay Merges (183-2008) did not help to save the game for Brest. Guard Vladislav Lagodich (180-2002) added 13 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for lost side. Five Brest players scored in double figures.
