Megaridas looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Vikos‘ players. It was a good game for Canadian guard Cole Syllas (196) who led his team to a victory with 23 points and 8 rebounds. Petros Geromichalos (203-1994) contributed with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Jordan Sibert (193-1992, college: Dayton) replied with 26 points for Vikos. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Megaridas have an impressive 17-game winning streak. Important game to mention about took place in Trikala. Third ranked Iraklis (14-9) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 12th ranked Ikaroi Trikala (11-13) 62-59 on Saturday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Nontas Papantoniou (192-1990) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 rebounds and Nikos Paparegkas who added 18 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was naturalized Australian center Ioannis Dimakopoulos (218-1994, college: UC Irvine, agency: Helping Ballers) with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds. Ikaroi Trikala’s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn’t help. Despite that victory Iraklis went down to fourth position due to points difference.
