It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Naestved. Americans were the main players on the court. Trejon Jacob (196-1998, college: FIU, agency: One Motive Sports) nailed 20 points and 5 assists for the winning side and Marek Nelson accounted for 18 points and 6 rebounds. Horsens IC’s coach Vedran Borovcanin allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Caleb Huffman (193-2000, college: Nicholls) came up with 18 points for Naestved in the defeat. Horsens IC have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain third place with 16-4 record behind leader Svendborg. Naestved at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. They share it with Svendborg.
Sixth ranked Copenhagen (7-13) crushed at home 11th ranked BAC (3-17) by 47 points 103-56, which is the biggest margin this round on Thursday night. The best player for the winners was Andrew Ramirez who scored 24 points and 6 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was William Bloch who recorded 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Copenhagen maintains sixth place with 7-13 record. BAC lost their fourth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost.

In the last two games of round 21 Herlev lost to Amager on the opponent’s court 75-93. Holbaek outscored Vaerlose in a home game 104-82.


Amager – Herlev 93-75

Everything could happen in Kastrup at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh ranked Amager and 9th ranked Herlev had identical 5-14 record. This time Amager used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Herlev 93-75 on Thursday night. Amager forced 22 Herlev turnovers. There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Holbaek (5-15) smashed at home 8th ranked Vaerlose (5-15) 104-82 on Thursday. Holbaek dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Vaerlose‘s 32. Holbaek forced 23 Vaerlose turnovers and outrebounded them 35-24 including 24 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American guard Josiah Johnson (185-2001, college: UMHB) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. Spanish guard Bernard Edokpayi (195-2003) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Holbaek players scored in double figures.
