Experienced Ignas Razutis (185-PG-87) had an amazing evening in the last round for Telsiai and that’s him to receive a Hoops Agents NKL Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 34-year old playmaker had the game-high 20 points adding six rebounds and six assists for Telsiai in his team’s victory, helping them to crush Mazeikiai (#8, 4-6) with 20-point margin 81-61. Telsiai maintains the 3rd position in Lithuanian NKL. They are still close to the very top. Telsiai would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 9-2 record. In the team’s last game Razutis had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He has many years of experience at Telsiai, through which he has constantly improved. Razutis has impressive league stats. He is in league’s top in assists (4th best: 6.0apg) and averages solid 2.3spg and 70.8% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was 21-year old power forward Tomas Balciunas (204-PF) of Delikatesas. Balciunas impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 17 points and 14 rebounds. Of course Delikatesas cruised to a 98-88 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Kretinga (#10, 4-7). The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. But Delikatesas managed to improve slightly their position in standings taking 12th place. 8 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Delikatesas managed to get this year. Balciunas is a newcomer at Delikatesas and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team’s leaders.
The third best performed player last round was Mindaugas Stasys (179-PG-86) of top-ranked Gargzdu. Stasys scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds. He was a key player of Gargzdu, leading his team to a 69-62 win against the lower-ranked Palanga (#11, 4-7). Many experts and fans count Gargzdu as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 10 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Stasys has a great season in Lithuania. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in assists with 6.0apg (5th best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
