Manawatu Jets (NBL) signed 28-year old American power forward Kenny Goins (201cm-98kg-1996, college: Michigan State, agency: Players Group) for upcoming 2025 season. Goins joins another USA player Makhel Mitchell who is already in the roster.
He played last season at Limoges CSP Elite in French Betclic ELITE ProA. In 22 games he had 3.6ppg and 2.8rpg.
He is quite experienced player. He has played in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Goins has played previously professionally in Greece (Kolossos H Hotels Rodou and Lavrio), Hungary (Atomeromu), Italy (Trapani), Lithuania (Pieno Zvaigzdes Pasvalys) and Mexico (Correcaminos). His team won Big Ten Tournament in 2016 and 2019.
He was voted to All-Big Ten Honorable Mention back in 2019.
Goins graduated from Michigan State in 2019 and it will be his sixth season as a professional player.
