Sokol made 24-of-30 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Sokol had a 31-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. Sokol players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Gornik’s players. Gornik was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Filip Struski (200-1994) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners and Wojciech Pisarczyk (201-1988) chipped in 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Sokol players scored in double figures. At the losing side Hubert Pabian (201-1989) responded with 26 points and 5 rebounds and the former international center Piotr Niedzwiedzki (210-1993) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Dominik Rutkowski (194-1998) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Jakub Kobel (190-1998) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Guard Piotr Smigielski (191-1989) answered with 13 points and 6 assists and Mikolaj Kurpisz (203-1998) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Kotwica. Four Kotwica players scored in double figures.
