VTB-Youth League top team – CSKA-Junior (24-4) added another victory to their record on Monday. This time they beat eleventh ranked Uralmash-2 (9-21) in Yekaterinburg 82-77. CSKA-Junior outrebounded Uralmash-2 36-24 including 25 on the defensive glass. Forward Rostislav Gusev (204-2006) stepped up and scored 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Ivan Bondarenko (201-2006, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side point guard Matvey Reshetov (178-2005) responded with 17 points and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. CSKA-Junior have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 24-4 record. Uralmash-2 at the other side dropped to the tenth position with 21 games lost. They share it with Samara-2. CSKA-Junior are looking forward to face Parma-2 (#4) in Perm in the next round. Uralmash-2 will play at home against Zenit-2 (#6) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
13th ranked Enisey-2 (1-27) was outscored at home by eighth ranked Lokomotiv-2 (11-15) with the biggest margin this round 94-76. Center Pavel Ryabkov (202-2006) nailed 23 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Maxim Malakhov accounted for 18 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Egor Skuratov (190-2005) came up with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for Enisey-2 in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lokomotiv-2 maintains eighth place with 11-15 record. Enisey-2 lost their nineteenth game in a row. There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 37: Avtodor-2 lost to UNICS-2 on the opponent’s court 67-83. N.Novgorod-2 managed to outperform Samara-2 in a home game 99-82. Zenit-2 recorded a loss to Parma-2 on the road 67-61.

Rather expected game in Kazan where 12th ranked Avtodor-2 (6-24) was defeated by ninth ranked UNICS-2 (11-19) 83-67. UNICS-2 outrebounded Avtodor-2 51-39 including 18 on the offensive glass. Avtodor-2 was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Magomednabi Khalilulaev (186-2006) nailed 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and guard Roman Ilyuk (185-2005) accounted for 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four UNICS-2 players scored in double figures. Guard Rustem Gabaraev (190-2006) came up with 10 points and 7 rebounds and guard Petr Forsov (184-2005) added 12 points respectively for Avtodor-2 in the defeat.
