The most exciting game of round 12 in the 1 Liiga took place in Kadrina. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 4th ranked Kadrina (8-3) to first ranked Eesti M. (11-1) 86-83 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Kadrina. Eesti M. have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 11-1 record. Kadrina at the other side keeps the fourth place with three games lost. Eesti M. are looking forward to face TSA Kalev (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kadrina will play against Rock Tartu (#10) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Ulikool/Estiko (9-3) against tenth ranked TSA Kalev (4-8) on Friday night. Visiting Ulikool/Estiko was defeated by TSA Kalev in Kalev 103-91. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Ulikool/Estiko. TSA Kalev have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Haapsalu. Ulikool/Estiko at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. TSA Kalev will play against league’s leader Eesti M. in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Ulikool/Estiko will play against Haapsalu and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked Audentese managed to get a second victory, breaking the two-game losing streak on Thursday night. This time they won against fifth-ranked Rae Koss in Tallinn 75-71. Audentese (2-10) moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Rapla KK. Rae Koss lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with Tamsalu. Audentese will meet league’s second-placed Reinar Halliku in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Rae Koss will play against Rapla KK and hope to secure a win.
There were no big surprises in other games of round 12: Tamsalu smashed Rapla KK on the road 82-63. Rock Tartu was destroyed by Paide VW on its own court 82-104. Reinar Halliku outscored Haapsalu in Tartu 94-63.
Rapla KK – Tamsalu 63-82
No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Tamsalu (6-5) crushed on the road bottom-ranked Rapla KK (2-10) 82-63 on Thursday. Tamsalu moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Rae Koss. Loser Rapla KK dropped to the bottom position with ten games lost. They share it with Audentese. Tamsalu will meet at home Paide VW (#7) in the next round. Rapla KK will play against Rae Koss (#5) and hope to secure a win.

Audentese – Rae Koss 75-71

Paide VW moved-up to seventh place. Loser Rock Tartu dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. Paide VW will meet higher ranked Tamsalu (#6) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Rock Tartu will play against Kadrina (#4) and hope to secure a win.
