Kevin Buckingham contributed with 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. point guard Javier Marin (190-1992) replied with 13 points and 7 rebounds for Moron. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Zamora moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Gipuzkoa. Moron at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with ten games lost. They share the position with Alicante. Zamora will play against higher ranked Ourense (#7) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Moron will play against the league’s second-placed Estudiantes (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
The game in Palencia was also quite interesting. 5th ranked Monbus Obradoiro (6-4) played at the court of seventh ranked Zunder Palencia (7-3). Zunder Palencia managed to secure a 8-point victory 91-83 on Thursday. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Monbus Obradoiro. Alec Wintering scored 23 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners. At the losing side Oliver Stevic responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Zunder Palencia have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. Loser Monbus Obradoiro dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. They share it with Ourense and Burgos T.. Palencia will meet higher ranked Fuenlabrada (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Obradoiro will play against Real Betis and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Rest of the games of round 10 were very predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:

There was no surprise in Mahon where 15th ranked Menorca (3-7) was defeated by eighth ranked Burgos T. (6-4) 95-88 on Saturday. American guard Lance Jones (185-2000, college: Purdue) scored 17 points to lead the charge for the winners and Jaume Lobo (180-1997) chipped in 15 points during the contest. Four Burgos T. players scored in double figures. At the losing side Azerbaijani-American guard Jordan Davis (188-1997, college: N.Colorado) responded with 35 points (!!!) and 4 assists and the former international center Victor Arteaga (212-1992) scored 8 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Burgos T. have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Ourense and Obradoiro. Menorca lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with seven games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Burgos T. will meet at home Cartagena (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Menorca will play against Castello in Castellon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
