The most impressive performance of 8th round was 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists by Millan Jimenez of Obradoiro.
Menorca – Valladolid 65-67
There was a small surprise when sixteenth ranked Valladolid (3-5) edged 13th ranked Menorca (3-5) in Mahon 67-65 on Saturday. The winners were led by Slovenian-Croatian guard Maj Kovacevic (192-1990, agency: BIG) who scored that evening 22 points and Serbian power forward Vasilije Vucetic (207-1996) supported him with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Even 17 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) by Bulgarian Pavlin Ivanov (196-1993, agency: 011 Sports) did not help to save the game for Menorca.
