TD Systems Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz (Liga Endesa) agreed terms with 26-year old New Zealander international forward Yannick Wetzell (208cm-109kg-1996, college: SDSU). Wetzell started the season at NZL Breakers in Australian NBL league. In 20 games he had very impressive stats: 17.3ppg, 8.0rpg, 1.3apg, 1.6spg and 1.1bpg. He was a member of New Zealand Senior National Team two years ago.
Wetzell has played previously professionally also in Germany (EnBW Ludwigsburg).
He graduated from San Diego State University in 2020 and it is his second season as a professional player.
