Artland Dragons (ProA) have signed 29-year-old American 193cm guard Taylor Johnson (Dartmouth) for the upcoming season. Johnson, who was the second leading scorer for Hemel Storm in the British NBL D1 last season, averaged an impressive 22.6ppg, 6.8rpg, 4.0apg, and 2.0spg in 12 games. He played a key role in helping his team win the NBL Division One title. Johnson’s performance earned him a spot on the Eurobasket.com All-British BBL Honorable Mention team. In addition to Hemel Storm, Johnson has also played for Plymouth Patriots (BBL) and Storm (NBL D1) in the United Kingdom.
He has played previously professionally in the UK with the Cavaliers and Warriors.
Johnson graduated from Dartmouth College in 2018 and it’ll be his seventh season in pro basketball.
