Bosnia and Herzegovina Forward Vladimir Nikolic (202-F-2003) had a great game in the last round for Sloboda U., receiving a Hoops Agents JLS Player of the Week award for round 19.
The 18-year old player had a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds, while his team beat Novi Pazar (#11, 4-14) 91-85. Sloboda U. maintains the 4th position in Serbian JLS. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Sloboda U. will need more victories to improve their 11-6 record. In the team’s last game Nikolic had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Vladimir Nikolic averages this season 10.6ppg and 6.7rpg.
The second best player in last round’s games was young Luka Kulundzic (2004) of Novi Pazar. Kulundzic had a very good evening with 33 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as Novi Pazar lost that game 85-91 to the higher-ranked Sloboda U. (#4, 11-6). This loss caused Novi Pazar to drop to 11th position in the standings. 14 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Novi Pazar managed to get this year. Kulundzic is one of the most experienced players at Novi Pazar and has a reputation of one of team’s most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.3ppg (#1). He also registered 6.9 boards per game.
Third on the list of top players last round was Ognjen Petkovic (2004) of Radnicki KG (#7). Petkovic scored 26 points and grabbed six rebounds. Despite Petkovic’s great performance Radnicki KG lost 80-83 to slightly higher-ranked Partizan BG (#5, 9-6). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Radnicki KG ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 9 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Petkovic could help Radnicki KG to bring them higher in the standings. Petkovic has a very solid season. In 17 games in Serbia he scored 8.9ppg. He also has 2.1spg and FGP: 59.6%.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
