Aris Midea Thessaloniki (GBL) signed 25-year-old American 205cm forward Josh Roberts (college: Manhattan) for the upcoming season. Roberts, who most recently played for Hawks in the New Zealand NBL league, averaged 13.0ppg, 13.2rpg (leader!!!), and 1.7bpg in the 20 games he played last season. He had a successful year and was voted League Player of the Week twice. Prior to that, he played for Taipans (NBL) in the Australian league.
He played in the final of the WAC Tournament in 2019 among many awards. He received the All-MAAC Co-Defensive Player of the Year award in 2023.
Roberts graduated from Manhattan College in 2023 and it’ll be his second season in pro basketball. He played also for St. John’s University for 3 years.
