Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Parma-2 (11-12) and N.Novgorod-2 (5-18), which took place in Nizhny Novgorod. Higher ranked Parma-2 lost to twelfth ranked N.Novgorod-2 in a road game 73-78. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Parma-2. It was a quality performance for Demid Tyulyubaev who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists. Yaroslav Pechendgiyan came up with 17 points for Avtodor-2 in the defeat. Avtodor-2’s coach Dejan Parezanin gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Lokomotiv-2 have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Zenit-2. Avtodor-2 lost eleventh consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with 19 games lost. Lokomotiv-2 will meet Samara-2 (#7) on the road in the next round. Avtodor-2 will have a break next round.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 27: Zenit-2 smashed Enisey-2 on the road 107-70. MBA-2 won against Uralmash-2 on its own court 80-74. Khimki-2 managed to outperform UNICS-2 in a road game 80-67.

Lokomotiv-2 dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Avtodor-2‘s 34. Lokomotiv-2 forced 20 Avtodor-2 turnovers and outrebounded them 47-25 including a 18-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was an exceptional evening for Matvey Padius (194-2006) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Sergey Chugunov (200-2005) accounted for 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Four MBA-2 players scored in double figures. MBA-2’s coach Dmitry Ovsyuk used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
