Esenler Erokspor Istanbul (TBL) landed 27-year old 195cm swingman Cavit Havsa (college: Rice) for new season. Havsa has played for the last three years at Cagdas Bodrum Spor in BSL. However his team was relegated to TBL. In 22 games he averaged just 2.1ppg, 1.2rpg and 1.5apg last season. TBL will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time.
He represented Turkey at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Crete (Greece) seven years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 3.3ppg, 1.6rpg, 2.1apg, 1.3spg.
Havsa graduated from Rice University in 2021 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball. He played for other colleges like: Utah Valley University, Fordham University.
