There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in KLS. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

KLS top team – Zlatibor (22-6) added another victory to their record on Wednesday. This time they beat fifteenth ranked Radnicki KG (10-18) in Kragujevac 95-88. The guests trailed by 17 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 7 points. Zlatibor made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a quality performance of Dusan Kutlesic (200-1994) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Nemanja Protic (182-1986) who added 27 points and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side the former international center Rasko Katic (208-1980, agency: BeoBasket) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Zlatibor maintains first position with 22-6 record. Radnicki KG at the other side keeps the fifteenth place with 18 games lost. Zlatibor are looking forward to face OKK Beograd (#13) in Belgrade in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Radnicki KG will play on the road against Metalac VL in Valjevo and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
Zdravlje (#9) forced the game against Novi Pazar (#7) into an overtime, but lost by one point 84-85. The game took place in Leskovac. But the guests from Novi Pazar were better at the end. The winners were led by Bosnian guard Nemanja Nikolic (196-1998) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 32 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists and Asmir Numanovic supported him with 12 points and 5 rebounds. Even 23 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists by guard Milos Jovic (194-1997, college: Miami, OH) did not help to save the game for Zdravlje. Zdravlje’s coach Lazar Spasic tried various players’ combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn’t help. Novi Pazar have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain seventh position with 15-13 record. Newly promoted Zdravlje dropped to the tenth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Novi Pazar will play against higher ranked Mladost ZE (#4) in Zemun in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Zdravlje will play at home against Kolubara (#14) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Fourth ranked Mladost ZE (17-11) crushed at home 16th ranked Slodes BG (2-25) by 39 points 120-81, which is the biggest margin this round on Wednesday night. Strahinja Gavrilovic fired 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Mladost ZE’s coach Dragan Jakovljevic felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Filip Andjusic produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Mladost ZE moved-up to third place, which they share with Vojvodina NS. Slodes BG lost twenty first consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 25 lost games. Mladost ZE will meet Novi Pazar (#7) on the road in the next round. Slodes BG will play against the league’s second-placed Sloga KR (#2) and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 28: Vrsac was destroyed by Dynamic VP on the opponent’s court 82-57. Sloga KR managed to outperform Metalac VL in a home game 100-84. Tamis PN managed to beat Kolubara on the road 80-76. OKK Beograd was defeated by Dunav SB on its own court 96-103. Sloboda U. was beaten by Vojvodina NS in Novi Sad 88-73.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 24 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists by Dusan Beslac of Vojvodina NS.

Dynamic VP – Vrsac 82-57

Rather expected game in Belgrade where 8th ranked Vrsac (14-14) was crushed by sixth ranked Dynamic VP (16-12) 82-57 on Saturday. The game without a history. Dynamic VP led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Forward Dusan Radosavljevic (201-2001) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Mihailo Boskovic (-2002) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Dynamic VP players scored in double figures. Dynamic VP’s coach Sasa Nikitovic felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Milos Dimic (195-1989) produced 11 points and 5 rebounds and Bosnian forward Vojin Ilic (200-2000) added 6 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Dynamic VP moved-up to fifth place. Loser Vrsac keeps the eighth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Dunav SB. Dynamic VP will meet Sloboda U. (#6) in the next round. Vrsac will play against Tamis PN and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Sloga KR – Metalac VL 100-84

Very predictable result in Kraljevo where second ranked Sloga KR (18-10) defeated 9th ranked Metalac VL (13-15) 100-84 on Saturday. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Sloga KR’s pressure prevailed and they won that period 25-11 extending their advantage to 16 points. Sloga KR forced 21 Metalac VL turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Metalac VL’s players. Nemanja Barac (194-1990, agency: 011 Sports) fired 21 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Stefan Matovic (203-1991) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Sloga KR players scored in double figures. Center Uros Lukovic (213-1989, agency: BeoBasket) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 17 rebounds and point guard Igor Mijajlovic (192-1984) added 20 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. The game between closely ranked teams ended with 14th ranked Kolubara‘s (11-17) home loss to thirteenth ranked Tamis PN (13-15) 76-80 on Saturday. Kolubara was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 24-18 charge of Tamis PN, which allowed them to win the game. Tamis PN outrebounded Kolubara 35-20 including 27 on the defensive glass. American guard PJ Hardy (185-1998, college: La-Lafayette) fired 32 points and 4 assists for the winners. Center Mihailo Todorovic (210-1995) chipped in 16 points. Tamis PN’s coach Bojan Jovicic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Swingman Milic Blagojevic (200-1991) produced 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and American point guard Supreme Hannah (183-1994, college: Daemen) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Kolubara players scored in double figures. Tamis PN have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Kolubara keeps the fourteenth position with 17 games lost. Tamis PN will meet higher ranked Vrsac (#8) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Kolubara will play against Zdravlje (#12) in Leskovac and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Zdravlje (#9) forced the game against Novi Pazar (#7) into an overtime, but lost by one point 84-85. The game took place in Leskovac. But the guests from Novi Pazar were better at the end. Zdravlje was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Everything could happen in Belgrade at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Dunav SB and 9th ranked OKK Beograd had identical 13-14 record. But OKK Beograd was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Stari Banovci 103-96 on Sunday night. OKK Beograd trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 28-24 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 96-103 at the end of the game. Dunav SB looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Dunav SB made 7 blocks. American point guard Nickolas Neal (185-1988, college: Purdue-NCent.) chipped in 17 points and 8 assists. Four Vojvodina NS players scored in double figures. Djordje Bozic (195-2001) produced 23 points and 8 rebounds and Slovenian point guard Jan Novak (193-1995) added 16 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Vojvodina NS maintains third position with 17-11 record having five points less than leader Zlatibor, which they share with Mladost ZE. Loser Sloboda U. keeps the sixth place with 13 games lost. Vojvodina NS will meet Dunav SB (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Sloboda U. will play against Dynamic VP and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
