American Jamaure Gregg (201-F-1999) had a great game in the last round for Tarvas and that’s him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 24.
The 22-year old forward had the game-high 22 points adding six rebounds and two assists for Tarvas in his team’s victory, helping them to beat LU (#12, 6-20) 91-79. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Tarvas is placed at 13th position in LAT-EST BL. The season is in a full swing, so it’s only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Tarvas have already lost 20 games and recorded just five victories. Gregg just recently signed at Tarvas, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Jamaure Gregg averages this season 8.0ppg and 5.1rpg.
The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was young American forward Darryl Tucker (201-F-1995) of Rapla. Tucker impressed basketball fans with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Bad luck as Rapla lost that game 61-85 to the higher-ranked Kalev/Cramo (#3, 21-5). This loss caused Rapla to drop to 9th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league’s best with a mere 11-14 record. Tucker is a newcomer at Rapla and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team’s leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.7ppg (#7). He also registered 9.1 boards per game.
The third best performed player last round was Latvian Davids Viksne (195-SF-2000) of LU (#12). Viksne scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Despite Viksne’s great performance LU lost 79-91 to slightly lower-ranked Tarvas (#13, 5-20). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. LU can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 6-20 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Viksne has individually a great season in LAT-EST BL. After 25 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in rebounds with 7.6rpg (8th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
