American Joshua Heath (186-PG-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for Leuven and that’s him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 32.
The 27-year old playmaker had the game-high 19 points adding nine assists for Leuven in his team’s victory, helping them to crush Den Bosch (#3, 1-2) with 19-point margin 84-65. The game was between two of the league’s top four teams. Leuven maintains the 3rd position in BNXT-League . They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost that single game earlier this season. Leuven will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team’s last game Heath had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Leuven, through which he has constantly improved. Georgia Institute of Technology graduate has very impressive stats this year. Heath is in league’s top in assists (5th best: 6.3apg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was young Bram Bogaerts (198-SF-1998) of Liege. Bogaerts impressed basketball fans with 19 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course he led Liege to another comfortable win outscoring Hague (#11, 0-3) 87-67. This victory allowed Liege to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 3-1 record is not bad and everything may still change. Bogaerts is a newcomer at Liege and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

The third best performed player last round was another Leuven’s star – American Nick McGlynn (206-F-1996). McGlynn scored 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds. He was another key player of Leuven, helping his team with a 84-65 easy win against #3 ranked Den Bosch in a game of the week. Leuven needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost games. McGlynn has a very solid season. In 21 games in BNXT-League he scored 11.9ppg. He also has 7.0rpg and FGP: 58.9%.
