American-Jamaican Reginald Kissoonlal (213-F/C-1996, agency: One Motive Sports) had a great game in the last round for Randers and that’s him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4 (Second Stage).
The 25-year old power forward had a double-double of 32 points and twelve rebounds, while his team beat Naestved (#5, 14-8) 86-78. Randers is placed at 3rd position in Danish BasketLigaen. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier in Second Stage. Randers will need more victories to improve their 14-7 record. In the team’s last game Kissoonlal had a remarkable 90.0% from 2-point range. It’s his second year at Randers and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. Marian University, IN graduate has very impressive stats this year. Kissoonlal is in league’s top in points (2nd best: 21.0ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 9.1rpg) and averages solid 2.9bpg,63.2% FGP and 44.6% from behind 3-point line. Worth to mention Kissoonlal played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was young Bahamas power forward Aaron Levarity (203-PF-1997) of second-ranked Svendborg. Levarity impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 13 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Svendborg was edged by slightly higher-ranked Bakken (#1, 20-1) 79-76. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Winner Stage. Svendborg still maintains its place in the top 2 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team’s 16-6 record is not bad at all. Levarity is well-known by Svendborg fans and he already established his position as one of team’s most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Vincent Bailey (201-C/F-1991) of Naestved (#5). Bailey scored 24 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Despite Bailey’s great performance Naestved lost 78-86 to slightly higher-ranked Randers (#3, 14-7). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Naestved needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in Winner Stage. Their record is 14 victories and 8 lost games. Bailey has a very solid season. In 18 games in Denmark he scored 14.3ppg. He also has 5.1rpg, 3.6apg and FGP: 57.7%.
