The groups for the 2024-25 FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season and pairings for the Qualifiers have been drawn in Munich, Germany on Friday. The Regular Season will feature 40 teams split into 10 groups of four with 15 teams receiving direct berths, a further 14 clubs competing in the Qualifiers for seven guaranteed places and up to 18 teams arriving from the Basketball Champions League Qualification Rounds. There are in total 19 clubs that have opted in from the BCL Qualifiers, of which a maximum of 18 will take part in the FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season. They were conditionally placed in the draw; and will be replaced by a ‘lucky loser’ from the FIBA Europe Cup Qualifiers should they advance to the BCL Regular Season. The draw was attended by FIBA Europe President Jorge Garbajosa and FIBA Executive Director Europe Kamil Novak, with former Bulgarian international Filip Videnov assisting with the draw.

Group A: Tofas Bursa (TUR); Petrolina AEK (CYP); Loser of BCL QF: BC Trepca v Keravnos BC; Basketball Lowen Braunschweig (GER) Group B: Casademont Zaragoza (ESP); Loser BCL QRT 2 SF; Bursaspor (TUR); Winner – FEC Qualifiers Pairing 5

Group C: Cholet Basket (FRA); Windrose Giants Antwerp (BEL); Fribourg Olympic (SUI); Winner – FEC Qualifiers Pairing 4

Group D: Anwil Wloclawek (POL); Dinamo Banco di Sardegna (ITA); Aliaga Petkim (TUR); Winner – FEC Qualifiers Pairing 2

Group F: Loser of BCL QRT 2 Final; Rilski Sportist (BUL); ESSM Le Portel (FRA); Winner – FEC Qualifiers Pairing 3

Group G: SL Benfica (POR); Norrkoping Dolphins (SWE); Sabah BC (AZE); Winner – FEC Qualifiers Pairing 6

Group H: MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg (GER); Loser of BCL QRT 2 SF; Caledonia Gladiators (GBR); Winner – FEC Qualifiers Pairing 1

Group I: FC Porto (POR); PAOK (GRE); NHSZ-Szolnoki Olajbanyasz (HUN); Hubo Limburg United (BEL)

Group J: Telekom Baskets Bonn (GER); BC Balkan (BUL); Loser of BCL QF: Kutaisi 2010 v Patrioti Levice; Winner – FEC Qualifiers Pairing 7

For the 2024-25 campaign, the FIBA Europe Cup Qualifiers format has returned to a home-and-away series for the upcoming edition, and the ties will take place on September 24 and 27, with the seeded teams playing the second leg at home.

The pairings for the Qualifiers are as follows:
Pairing 1: JDA Bourgogne Dijon (FRA) vs BC Dinamo Zagreb (CRO)

Pairing 2: Sporting CP (POR) vs Spirou Basket (BEL)

Pairing 3: Alba Fehervar (HUN) vs BC Prievidza (SVK)

Pairing 4: BC Dnipro (UKR) vs CSM Constanta (ROU)

Pairing 5: Anorthosis Famagusta (CYP) vs Visit Malta Starlites Naxxar (MLT)

Pairing 6: BC Peja (KOS) vs Maroussi Basketball Club (GRE)

Pairing 7: Bilbao Basket (ESP) vs Neptunas Klaipeda (LTU)
