AE Psychiko Athens (Elite League) landed 25-year old 201cm power forward Demetrious Marghellis for new season. Marghellis has played for the last two years at GS Ermis Shimatariou. In 33 Elite League games he averaged 3.7ppg and 4.2rpg last season. He helped them to make it to the semifinals.
The previous (2022-23) season he played at Maroussi where in 10 Elite League games he had 4.3ppg, 3.0rpg, 1.8apg and 1.1spg in that year.
Marghellis has played previously professionally also in Lithuania (Kursenai) and Greece (Ethnikos, KAP Agia Paraskevis, Kymis and Charilaos).
He won Greek A2 championship title in 2020.
