Erjon Kastrati
27-year old swingman Erjon Kastrati (197-G/F-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for league’s best team Ylli and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
He had the game-high 20 points adding six rebounds and seven assists for Ylli in his team’s victory, helping them to outclass Kamza (#7, 2-10) with 33-point margin 89-56. It allowed Ylli to consolidate first place in the Liga Unike. Ylli has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 10-1. In the team’s last game Kastrati had a remarkable 87.5% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Ylli, through which he has constantly improved. Kastrati has impressive league stats. He is in league’s top in points (6th best: 19.9ppg) and averages solid 3.2spg,63.9% FGP and 41.5% from behind 3-point line.
Second best performed player last round was Fisnik Rugova (207-C/F-1989) of Rahoveci. He is a in his first (recently joined) season at Rahoveci. In the last game Rugova recorded impressive 23 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course he led Rahoveci to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Vllaznia (#8, 2-10) 97-73. Rahoveci’s 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league’s best with a mere 5-7 record. Rugova is one of the most experienced players at Rahoveci and has a reputation of one of team’s most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to guard Darrell Davis (196-SG-1996) of Prizreni-16 (#3). Davis got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for thirteen rebounds . Despite Davis’ great performance Prizreni-16 lost 72-84 to #2 ranked Peja. But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Prizreni-16 needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 7 victories and 5 lost games. Davis has a great season in Liga Unike. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in points with 26.5ppg (2nd best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
