Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of top-ranked M.Rehovot (16-7) at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked I.Nahariya (14-9) 86-78. I.Nahariya shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. I.Nahariya maintains third place with 14-9 record having just two points less than leader M.Rehovot. M.Rehovot at the other side still keeps top position with seven games lost. They share it with E.Netanya. I.Nahariya are looking forward to face M.Ma’ale Adum. (#11) in Ma’ale Adumim in the next round and are hoping to win another game. M.Rehovot will play on the road against E.Ashkelon (#5) and is hoping to win this game.

Naturalized Polish center Ido Flaisher (208-1998, college: Hawaii) nailed a double-double by scoring 10 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and Yuval Levin accounted for 15 points and 9 rebounds. The former international point guard Yogev Ohayon (189-1987) came up with 23 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 9 steals for M.Raanana in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. E.Shomron have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated M.Raanana. M.Raanana lost third consecutive game. E.Shomron will play against bottom-ranked M.Haifa (#13) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. M.Raanana will play against H.Safed Galil (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

E.Ashkelon lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with 11 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Ramat Hash. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. E.Ashkelon will play against the league’s leader M.Rehovot (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 25: H.Gilboa Galil won against M.Ma’ale Adum. on the opponent’s court 88-74. E.Netanya managed to outperform M.Haifa in a home game 90-85. H.Kfar Qasem recorded a loss to M.Rishon on the road 92-83.
