Talented Vsevolod Ishchenko (190-G-2005) put on an amazing game in the last round for SSHOR-Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodarskiy Kray and that’s him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 47.
The 18-year old guard had the game-high 15 points adding six rebounds and eight assists for Lokomotiv-2 in his team’s victory, helping them to outclass Khimki-2 (#5, 26-12) with 31-point margin 87-56. Lok.Kuban maintains the 4th position in Russian VTB-Youth League. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Lok.Kuban will need more victories to improve their 27-11 record. Ishchenko turned to be Lok.Kuban‘s top player in his first season with the team. Ishchenko has impressive league stats. He is league’s best scorer averaging so far 16.2ppg. Ishchenko is in league’s top in rebounds (9th best: 6.7rpg) and assists (6th best: 4.2apg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round’s games was young shooting guard Klim Adaykin (195-SG-2005) of second-ranked MBA Moscow 2nd team. Adaykin impressed basketball fans with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course MBA-2 cruised to a 73-63 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked CSKA-Junior (#1, 34-6). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. MBA-2 consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. His team’s 32-10 record is not bad at all. Adaykin is a newcomer at MBA-2 and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team’s leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Vladislav Samukhin (210-C-2004, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) of Zenit Saint Petersburg 2nd team (#6). Samukhin scored 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. He was a key player of Zenit-2, leading his team to a 75-60 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Samara-2 (#8, 18-24). Samukhin has a great season in Russia. The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
