Rueil was beaten by Quimper in a home game 73-89. Poissy lost to Rennes on the road 85-88. Lyon managed to outperform Besancon on its own court 98-94. Boulogne managed to beat Andrezieux in Boulogne-sur-Mer 75-65. Feurs defeated Pole France at home 63-57. Le Havre was beaten by Orchies on the opponent’s court 96-92.
The most impressive performance of 25th round was 26 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists by Valentin Bigote of Le Havre.

There was a small surprise when tenth ranked Orchesien BC (12-13) defeated 8th ranked STB Le Havre (13-12) in Orchies 96-92 on Friday. Orchies looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. American guard Andrew Jones (191-1997, college: Texas) nailed 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and forward Loic Menuge (197-1999) accounted for 22 points and 5 rebounds. Orchesien BC’s coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Valentin Bigote (196-1992) came up with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists and American forward Fred Thomas (196-1993, college: MSU) added 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Le Havre in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Orchesien BC. Orchies moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser STB Le Havre dropped to the fifth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Rennes and Loon-Plage. Orchies will meet at home Pont-de-Cheruy (#7) in the next round.
