American-Argentinian Power forward Erik Thomas (195-PF-1995) had a very impressive game in the last round for Geneve, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 30.
The 27-year old player was the main contributor (23 points, nine rebounds and five assists) to his team’s victory, helping them to outclass Starwings (#10, 7-22) with 33-point margin 111-78. Geneve maintains the 4th position in Swiss SBL. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Geneve will need more victories to improve their 18-11 record. Thomas turned to be Geneve’s top player in his first season with the team. Erik Thomas averages this season 12.1ppg and 5.7rpg.

The second best player in last round’s games was young American Tre’vion Lamar (196-G/F-1999) of Swiss Central. Lamar had a very good evening with 30 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Bad luck as Swiss Central lost that game 84-102 to the higher-ranked Massagno (#1, 26-3). Swiss Central are still at the very bottom. 25 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories Swiss Central managed to get this year. Lamar is a newcomer at Swiss Central, but is already one of team’s top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward DeVante Brooks (198-PF, agency: Players Group) of Nyon (#9). Brooks scored 23 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Nyon, leading his team to a 79-72 win against Monthey (11-18). The chances of Nyon not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 18 games, recording just eleven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Brooks could try to bring Nyon’s a little bit higher in the standings. Brooks has individually a great season in Switzerland. After 29 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in rebounds with 10.6rpg (3rd best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
