Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion moved-up to sixth place. VTB-Youth League top team – CSKA-Junior (28-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat sixth ranked Samara-2 (18-15) 78-62. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Samara-2. The winners were led by forward Nikolay Natsvlishvili (195-2005) who scored that evening 15 points and 7 rebounds and Daniil Klyuchenkov supported him with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Even 14 points and 8 rebounds by center Nikita Kosyakov (205-2005) did not help to save the game for Samara-2. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. CSKA-Junior have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 28-3 record. Samara-2 at the other side dropped to the seventh place with 15 games lost. CSKA-Junior will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Samara-2 will play again at home against the league’s leader CSKA-Junior (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Uralmash-2 maintains eleventh position with 9-23 record. Loser Parma-2 keeps the eighth place with 20 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

In the last two games of round 36 UNICS-2 lost to Lokomotiv-2 on the opponent’s court 71-78. Avtodor-2 managed to outperform Enisey-2 in a home game 82-71.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 23 points and 7 rebounds by Yaroslav Pechendgiyan of Avtodor-2.


Parma-2 – Uralmash-2 65-85

An interesting game took place in Perm where 8th ranked Parma-2 (14-20) was upset on its own court by eleventh ranked Uralmash-2 (9-23) 85-65 on Friday. Fedor Manikhin (196-2004) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Mikhail Stafeev (198-2005) who recorded 30 points and Gleb Kremlev (195-2005) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Uralmash-2 maintains eleventh position with 9-23 record. Loser Parma-2 keeps the eighth place with 20 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Samara-2‘s players.
