American Swingman Darious Hall (200-G/F-1997) had an amazing evening in the last round for Enea Zastal BC Zielona Gora, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out Keila (#12, 2-4) 95-91. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Enea Zastal is placed at 9th position in European North Basketball League. They are still close to the very top. Zastal would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 4-1 record. In the team’s last game Hall had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Enea Zastal‘s top player in his first season with the team. Former Central Arkansas University star has very solid stats this year. Hall is in league’s top in points (8th best: 17.5ppg) and averages impressive 2.8spg and 58.1% FGP.

The second best player in last round’s games was young Lithuanian Denis Krestinin (202-F-1994) of Keila Coolbet. Krestinin had a very good evening with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Keila was edged by the higher-ranked Zastal (#9, 4-1) 95-91. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. Keila keeps 12th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league’s best with a mere 2-4 record. Krestinin is a newcomer at Keila, but is already one of team’s top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Zastal’s star – forward Michal Kolodziej (202-F/C-1997). Kolodziej scored 27 points and grabbed 12 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Enea Zastal BC Zielona Gora, helping his team with a 95-91 win against the lower-ranked Keila (#12, 2-4). Enea Zastal is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 4-1 record is not that bad… Kolodziej has a very solid season. In 5 games in European North Basketball League he scored 12.2ppg.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it’s accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) – 2*BSAG – 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM – 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) – 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) – (FTA-FTM)
