19-year old guard Daniil Klyuchenkov (199-G-2004) put on an amazing game in the last round for league’s best team CSKA Moscow 2nd team and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 32. He had the game-high 24 points adding nine rebounds and four assists for CSKA-Junior in his team’s victory, helping them to crush Khimki-2 (#2, 21-7) with 20-point margin 87-67. The game was between two of the league’s top four teams. It allowed CSKA-2 to consolidate first place in the Russian league. CSKA-2 have a solid 23-3 record. In the team’s last game Klyuchenkov had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be CSKA-2‘s top player in his first season with the team. Daniil Klyuchenkov averages this season 12.4ppg and 5.2rpg.
Second best performed player last round was Timofey Rudovskiy (202-F-2004) of BC Nizhny Novgorod 2nd team. He is a forward in his first season at N.Novgorod-2. In the last game Rudovskiy recorded an impressive 30 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course he led N.Novgorod-2 to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Avtodor-2 (#12, 5-23) 104-73. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. N.Novgorod-2 keeps 10th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league’s best with a mere 9-19 record. Rudovskiy is a newcomer at N.Novgorod-2 and quickly became one of team’s most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 13.6ppg (#7). He also registered 4.7 boards per game.
Third place about best performers goes to center Vladislav Samukhin (210-C-2004, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) of Zenit Saint Petersburg 2nd team (#5). Samukhin scored 17 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He was a key player of Zenit-2, leading his team to a 88-71 easy win against the lower-ranked Uralmash-2 (#11, 8-20). Samukhin has a great season in Russia. After 22 games, he made it on the list of the league’s leaders in rebounds with 8.5rpg (2nd best).
