18-year old forward Romario Holloway (203-F-2005) had a very impressive game in the last round for Basketball Loewen Braunschweig and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
He had a double-double of 30 points and 10 rebounds, while his team outclassed Rostock (#4, 4-6) with 31-point margin 103-72. Braunschweig maintains the 3rd position in their group in the German league. They would have been even better if they hadn’t lost a few games earlier this season. Braunschweig will need more victories to improve their 6-4 record. Holloway turned to be Braunschweig‘s top player in his first season with the team. Holloway has impressive league stats. He is in league’s top in rebounds (5th best: 10.9rpg) and averages solid 1.8bpg,2.3spg and 71.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Nikola Tomic (195-PG-2005). He is a guard in his first season at Braunschweig. In the last game Tomic recorded an impressive 36 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Of course together with Holloway he helped Junior Loewen Braunschweig U19 team with another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Rostock (#4, 4-6) 103-72. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Northeast-B. Braunschweig consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. His team’s 6-4 record is not bad at all. Tomic is a newcomer at Braunschweig and quickly became one of team’s most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 33.7ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 10.9rpg and 4.4apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Viktor Ludviksson (202-F-2006, agency: Blacktop Management) of WWU Baskets Muenster 2nd team (#4). Ludviksson got into 30-points club by scoring 33 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds and six assists. He was a key player of Muenster 2, leading his team to a 103-90 easy win against #1 ranked Quakenbrueck. Muenster 2 needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in North. Their record at this point is 5 victories and 4 lost games. Ludviksson has a very solid season. In 7 games in Germany he scored 17.7ppg. He also has 8.4rpg, 1.1bpg and a FGP of 60.0%.
