London Lions (BBL) inked 30-year old American 195cm swingman David Nwaba (college: Cal Poly). Nwaba started the season at Motor City Cruise (NBA G League) in the U.S. In 15 games he averaged 10.7ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.9apg, 1.3spg and 1.2bpg. The last season he played also at Cruise in U.S. NBA-G-League where in 27 games he had very impressive stats: 15.8ppg, 8.5rpg, 3.1apg, 1.2spg and 1.0bpg.
He has played also professionally in NBA (Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Houston Rockets, LA Lakers and Brooklyn Nets) and NBA G League (South Bay Lakers).
Among many awards he won D-League Pacific Division championship title in 2017. Nwaba was voted to USBasket.com D-League All-Defensive Team back in 2017.
Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him to get the job in pro basketball.
He graduated from Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo University in 2016 and it is his eighth season in pro basketball. Nwaba played for other colleges like: Santa Monica College, Hawaii Pacific University.
