Hagen at the other side dropped to the fourth place with four games lost. Vechta 2 will play against higher ranked Dresden (#10) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Hagen will play against Karlsruhe PS (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

They keep the sixteenth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Bochum. Trier will meet Giessen (#5) on the road in the next round. Paderborn will play against Kirchheim (#6) and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 14: Nuernberg was destroyed by Bayreuth on the opponent’s court 92-73. Bottom-ranked Artland unfortunately lost to Muenster in a home game 77-92. Karlsruhe PS managed to beat Duesseldorf on the road 84-67. Giessen defeated Bochum on its own court 90-82. Kirchheim was beaten by Koblenz in a road game 73-57. Bremerhaven lost to Frankfurt at home 90-94.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 18 points and 4 assists by Hilmar Henningsson of Bremerhaven.



Bayreuth – Nuernberg 92-73

Rather expected game when 11th ranked Falcons (6-8) were crushed on the road by ninth ranked Bayreuth (8-6) 92-73 on Tuesday. Bayreuth shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. The best player for the winners was American forward Esa Ahmad (203-1996, college: WVU) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds.
