GS Lavrio Aegean Cargo (GBL) landed 26-year old international 193cm forward Vasilis Mouratos, agency: Octagon Europe. It is actually his comeback to Lavrio as he has played here before. Mouratos already started the season at Apollon in the GBL. In 11 games he averaged 6.5ppg, 2.7rpg, 5.3apg and 1.7spg.
He has been also a member of Greek international program for some years. Mouratos has regularly played for Greek senior team since 2018 and previously for U19 National Team in 2015.
He represented Greece at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Crete (Greece) six years ago. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 7 games: 8.0ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.9apg, FGP: 28.9%, 3PT: 33.3%, FT: 75.9%.
Mouratos has played previously for eight other teams: Peristeri, Olympiacos, Rethymno, Psychikou, Promitheas, Ifaistos, Nea Kifissia and Agioi Anargiroi Athens. He was voted to Eurobasket.com Greek A1 All-Defensive Team in 2021 and 2022.
