AS Papagou Athens (Elite League) agreed terms with 24-year old American forward Deaquan Williams (203cm-98kg-1999, college: SC State). Williams already started the season at RASHI Tbilisi in Georgian Superleague. In 10 games he had 10.4ppg, 8.8rpg, 1.6apg, 2.5spg and 1.1bpg.
He has played previously professionally in Colombia (Bucaros) and Finland (Oulun Bball).
Williams was voted to HBCU All-Star Game in 2022.
He graduated from South Carolina State University in 2022 and it is his second season as a professional player. Williams played also for Lincoln University of Pennsylvania for 4 years.
