Aaron Wiggins To Sign Four-Year, $6.4M Deal With Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder are signing Two-Way player Aaron Wiggins to a four-year, $6.4 million deal. Wiggins was drafted by the Thunder with the 55th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.

As a rookie, Wiggins has played in 31 games (18 starts) for the Thunder. He’s averaged 7.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in the NBA this season.

Before signing Wiggins, Oklahoma City was more than $23 million shy of the salary floor for the 2021-22 season. The Thunder did not take on any considerable salary at the trade deadline, despite having over $30 million in cap space available.

The Thunder will have a full complement of 15 players on standard deals after signing Wiggins. Oklahoma City will have one Two-Way spot open. The Thunder recently waived Two-Way player Paul Watson and replaced him with Lindy Waters III.
