An interesting game for ratiopharm Ulm (15-5) which hosted in Ulm 3rd ranked Braunschweig (13-8). First ranked ratiopharm Ulm had an easy win 111-75. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Braunschweig. Ulm shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 53.3 percentage. 24 personal fouls committed by Braunschweig helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Karim Jallow (198-1997) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 rebounds. Puerto Rican Alfonso Plummer (185-1997, college: Illinois) contributed with 23 points for the winners. ratiopharm Ulm’s coach Ty Harrelson felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. EnBW Ludwigsburg’s coach rotated twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Wuerzburg moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Chemnitz. Ludwigsburg at the other side keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. Wuerzburg will play against Weissenfels (#9) on the road in the next round. Ludwigsburg will have a break next round.

Even 12 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists by point guard Ronaldo Segu (183-1999, college: Buffalo) did not help to save the game for Bamberg. Forward KeyShawn Feazell (206-1998, college: Creighton) added 18 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
