Erokspor outrebounded Cedi Osman 41-27 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Erokspor looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Bosnian-American guard John Roberson (180-1988, college: Texas Tech) fired 20 points for the winners. Center Metehan Akyel (206-1996) chipped in 10 points and 15 rebounds. American point guard Jordan Barnes (178-1997, college: Indiana St.) produced 17 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Erokspor maintains first position with 17-5 record. Newly promoted Cedi Osman dropped to the fourteenth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Ormanspor and Balikesir BBS. Erokspor are looking forward to face Balikesir BBS (#14) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Cedi Osman will play against Cayirova and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.

Worth to mention a great performance of Mustafa Elgun (-2001) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 15 rebounds. Alonzo Verge Jr contributed with 22 points and 12 assists for the winners. Erbey Paltaci (203-2004, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 20 points for Anka Spor. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Balikesir BBS moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Ormanspor and Cedi Osman. Anka Spor at the other side still closes the standings. A very close game took place in Konya between Konya BBSK and Ankaragucu. Ninth ranked Konya BBSK (12-10) got a very close home victory over one of their biggest challengers Ankaragucu (13-8). Konya BBSK managed to escape with a 2-point win 90-88 on Thursday evening. New Williams scored 27 points to lead the charge for the winners. At the losing side Hazer Avci responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Konya BBSK moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Ankaragucu keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. Konya BBSK will meet Haremspor (#10) in the next round where they are favorite. Ankaragucu will play against Final Spor (#13) and hope to secure a win.

There was an upset in Istanbul where higher ranked TED Ankara (12-10) was defeated by eleventh ranked Fenerbahce (11-11) 102-95 on Wednesday. Fenerbahce 2 made 27-of-30 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American point guard Ben Shungu (188-1997, college: Vermont) had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Yigit Ozkan (191-2001) chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest.
