Ulm looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Power forward Jonas Zilinskas (204-2006) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. point guard Jordan Mueller (185-2006) chipped in 15 points and 5 assists. Polish point guard Teo Milicic (180-2008) produced 25 points and 4 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Undefeated Ulm have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-0 record which they share with defeated OrangeAcademy. OrangeAcademy at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. They share it with Oldenburg and Rostock. Ulm are looking forward to face Kirchheim (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. OrangeAcademy will play against Rhein-Neckar (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Koeln. Second ranked RheinStars Koeln faced 3rd placed Sudhessen. Host RheinStars Koeln (9-2) smashed guests from Darmstad (7-4) 102-81. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sudhessen. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Davi Remagen (186-2007) who helped to win the game recording 42 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals (made all of his ten free throws !!!). Jan Troemel contributed with 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Forward Erik Neunhoeffer (200-2006) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for Sudhessen. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for RheinStars Koeln. Koeln RS keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Bonn/Rh. Sudhessen at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost. They share the position with Giessen. Koeln RS will play against Giessen (#4) on the road in the next round. Sudhessen will play against Hagen BBA and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Cavit Guerbuezer stepped up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. At the losing side Salman Meier responded with 15 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hagen BBA maintains fifth place with 5-6 record. Duesseldorf lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 11 games lost. Hagen BBA will meet higher ranked Sudhessen (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Duesseldorf will have a break next round.
